The Golf Manor Building Department is headed by Service Director Wane Creager who oversees our contractor, National Inspection Corporation. The purpose and major function of the Golf Manor Building Department is to protect the health and safety of the general public by enforcement of all applicable building, housing, and zoning codes. The Building Department enforces all Golf Manor building, housing, and zoning codes and ordinances for all residential and commercial properties in Golf Manor. The Department reviews all applications and plans for residential and commercial construction, repairs, and alterations within the Village limits and issues the necessary permits for such work. After a permit has been issued, the Department makes the necessary on-site inspections as the work progresses. Other duties of the Building Department include overseeing the sidewalk inspection program.
The Golf Manor Building Department also oversees property maintenance issues such as peeling paint, rotted wood, deteriorated roof systems, life safety problems. And complaints of deteriorated properties, high grass, trash, junked (disabled) autos, etc. to help maintain a healthy community environment.
The Village of Golf Manor contracts with the National Inspection Corporation
for all residential and commercial properties for plan examination, building
permits, electrical permits and on-site inspections. The Hamilton County Board
of Health is under contract to perform plumbing inspections.

Public Records Policy
The Village of Golf Manor acknowledges that it maintains many records that are used in the administration and operation of the Village. The records maintained by the Village of Golf Manor and the ability to access them are a means to provide trust between the public and the Village. The Village of Golf Manor maintains its records in a manner which allows the Village of Golf Manor to provide the general public prompt inspection of the Village's public records, and copies of these records within a reasonable amount of time during its regular business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Village of Golf Manor has a public records policy and a Schedule of Records Retention (RC-2). If you cannot find either of these documents, please consult with one of our employees and they will provide you with a copy.
